September 2018 marks the start of the UniVet project (University or Vocational Education and Training), funded by the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships Programme.

The project is being implemented by seven partners from five countries: Talentbrücke GmbH & Co. KG (Germany), Bildungszentren Des Baugewerbes EV (Germany), Berufsförderungswerk Der Bauindustrie NRW GGMBH (Germany), Viesoji Istaiga Vilniaus Statybininku Rengimo Centras (Lithuania), Centro Edile A. Palladio (Italy), International Formation Center Sl (Spain), and the Educational Research Institute (Poland).

The aim of the project is to gain an understanding of why students choose the higher education path even though in their situation, vocational training would be more appropriate. The project is also addressed to young people who are dissatisfied with their chosen path of education and are thinking about quitting.

The project will be implemented until the end of 2020.
