The report, prepared by regional leaders promoting the Integrated Qualification System, presents the results of a study entitled “Demand for competences and skills in leading regional sectors”.

Data on the economy, educational resources and job offers were analysed to determine the regional labour market and development needs of individual groups of employees. Additionally, qualitative interviews were conducted with regional labour market analysts and experts as well as with representatives of employers, educational and training institutions, HR agencies, sectoral organisations and associations. The qualitative survey focused on collecting information about the scope of the skills in demand for different leading sectors, which the educational system was unable to deliver, and therefore could be the basis for new market qualifications.
